Who we are

Who We Are!

Naidupet Church of Christ

The Church that meets at Naidupet is structured and functions much like the early church of the New Testament. We are an autonomous church that seeks to be totally allegiant to the leadership of Christ and to center our belief and practices on His life and teachings.

In addition, the Naidupet Church of Christ is blessed with a group of special servants that the Bible calls Deacons who are appointed to focus on specific Church work and activities.   These are men who have met the qualifications which Christ set forth in I Timothy 3:8-13 as deacons of His church.

We also have Minister who lead the Church through preaching and teaching the word of God (Ephesians 4:11).

With the help of God, and the dedicated work of the deacons, ministers, and the membership, we will continue to grow in faith and in number.

Our Worship is Simple and Devout

Our services are conducted in a quiet, worshipful atmosphere. They are designed to draw the worshipers closer to God and to provide enduring Spiritual Strength. Our worship consists only of those elements which the New Testament reveals as having been used as worship by the church in the days of the apostles. We sing and pray, partake of the Lord's supper, have the Word of God preached for our instruction, and give of our means for the spreading of the Gospel, and caring for the poor. In all of this we seek to maintain the attitude which Christ taught when He said: "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth." (John 4:24)

Our Authority Is The Bible Alone

Our source of authority is that which is found only in the inspired Scripture. Therefore, we seek to be governed in all that we do by God's Holy Bible. Since the Scriptures are sufficient for our every need (II Timothy 3:16-17), our preaching and teaching contains only that which is commanded in the Bible.

Our People are just Christians ONLY

The division in the religious world today is far different from the unity enjoyed by the early Christians, before traditionalism and distinctive names divided them. Believing such division to be contrary to the Scriptures, we have no Denominational organization or name, doctrine or creed. Following the teachings of Christ and His apostles, individually we are known as Christians, collectively as a church of Christ.

Members of the Naidupet Church of Christ have been meeting in this community of Naidupet, for nearly 13 years. It began with a handful of members meeting in the State Bank Street upstairs building, and later the group met in a larger empty place in the same building with the newly built shelter for rent. For the past 4 years, the congregation has been meeting in its newest.
The Naidupet congregation is active in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our weekly preaching, We also host two Gospel Meetings each year in the Summer. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend our Gospel meetings, as well as all of our services.

Who Are We?
What Do We Believe?

We are a Christ-centered, Bible believing Church with the mission of nurturing the saved and reaching out to the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. That by it, every man who will submit to its commands can be reconciled back to God. Only through that reconciliation will one become a Christian. We believe that Christ alone is the head of His church.

God's Plan of Salvation

Of all the things we can learn in this life, nothing is more important than God's plan for man's salvation. To know that we have the right plan, we dare not trust in man, but only in the word of God!

Listed below are scriptures that sustain what we understand the Bible teaches about salvation and service to God. Please read them for yourself, obey God's word and be saved.

1. Hear the gospel: John 5:24; Acts 15:7; Romans 10:17; Revelation 3:20
2. Believe: Mark 16:16; John 3:16-18; John 11:25-26; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10; Hebrews 11:6; 1 Peter 1:8-9
3. Repent of your sins: Luke 13:3-5; Acts 2:38; Acts 17:30; 2 Corinthians 7:10; 2 Peter 3:9
4. Confess Christ: Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9-10; 2 Timothy 2:19; 1 John 1:9
5. Baptism for the remission of sins : Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:16; John 3:5; Acts 2:38-41; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-5; Galatians 3:26-27; Titus 3:5-7; 1 Peter 3:18-22; 1 John 5:5-12.

If you will obey this plan, then God will add you to the Church. After which, Rev. 2:10 exhorts us to "Live faithfully, even unto death...."  Contact us if you need help finding the church of Christ nearest you.
